First of all, we don’t trust any site that uses quotation marks for emphasis. The worst thing about that is the way it sounds so skeezy when they say “Join for “*FREE*”!”
The site is very poor to look at, for one thing. When you first click on the website, you’re taken to a splash page that makes you verify that you’re at least 18 years old. This page is ugly, but a lot of nice websites have gross splash pages, so we could let it slide.
Unfortunately, the rest of the website is even worse. Nowhere could we find a page that wasn’t just floating black text on a white background, red links, and hovering non-interactive thumbnails. This is a boring, basic website that any member of our team could have coded in their sleep, including Monica (no offense, Monica).
Despite advertising “over a million GENUINE members,” we didn’t find that there was pretty much anyone on OnFireWithDesire.com at all. Instead, we found that most of the time we were online, there was absolutely no one online in our area who wasn’t a spambot using an obviously fake profile.
Spambots aren’t that hard to spot.
Websites like OnFireWithDesire.com use spambots because it’s cheaper than paying girls in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe to pretend to be interested in random couples on the Internet. These spambots exist to try and fool really gullible people into thinking that they’re genuine people, or in the case of OnFireWithDesire.com, couples, who want to meet up for sex.
Spambots do not want to meet up for sex.
The best emails on swinging dating sites include three parts, as we covered in our guide to sending a great first email on swinger dating sites. These include saying something about yourself, something about the other person’s profile, and a “hook” to let the person you’re contacting respond with an answer to a specific, relevant question.
In general, you should give precedence to the emails that follow that formula, because they’ll be a lot more interesting than the ones you get from spambots, which usually just say “nice pic…wanna hook up” or something along those lines, depending on how sophisticated it is.
OnFireWithDesire.com is FULL of spam. We could have made spamwiches for days after all the identical “nice pic….wanna hook up” messages we got. Needless to say, we did not want to hook up.
Our Results Using OnFireWithDesire.com For Swinger Dating
We sent out 300 emails during our time on OnFireWithDesire.com writing our OnFireWithDesire review. Sadly, we’re pretty sure we spent a lot of that time emailing spambots to ask for a date, but that’s kind of the name of the game on online dating sites. For every great site like SwingerProfiles.com or EroticAds.com, there are dozens that just stack the deck with fake members who don’t even try to make you think you’re going to hook up with a real couple. These sites only do this to try and make you get a membership, and after that they stop caring.
Of the 300 emails we sent out (mostly to spambots), we got back only a pitiful, pathetic 19 responses. Now, on good sites like our Top 5 best sites for swingers, we would routinely get back hundreds of messages to our best emails (learn how to craft a great first email whether you’re single or a couple in our guide to sending the perfect first email). On OnFireWithDesire.com, we got back less than 6% of the emails we sent out.
Of the 19 messages we got back, we did attempt to set up a date with one of them, on the pure tiny chance that it might not be a spambot. However, the very next day, we got a message in our OnFireWithDesire.com inbox from another couple with an identical picture showing us the identical message. We should have trusted our first instincts—they’re all spambots. We did not show up to that date, and doubtless neither did the spammer.
This was a terrible showing from a terrible website that doesn’t care if you meet anyone special or not.
Is OnFireWithDesire.com Is Worth It – Or Is OnFireWithDesire.com a Scam?
OnFireWithDesire.com doesn’t care if you think their website is scam. If they cared, they’dput more effort into designing the website than the absolute lack of effort they obviously put in. Seriously, any one of our readers with WordPress and 20 minutes could design a better website, even if you’ve never done it before.
The website design isn’t the only bad thing about this site. There are also just no couples to meet. Even the ones that seem real don’t seem very interesting, and there are few enough that look real to make it worth looking to find them in any case.
OnFireWithDesire.com is a bad chance at designing a website, and one of the most annoying things is that they had such a cool name. Do you know how much fire they use in the design of the website? Any idea?
If you guessed “none,” you’re right. Welcome to Camp Cynic, take off your shoes, you’re welcome here.
OnFireWithDesire.com Review: Should You Use OnFireWithDesire.com For Swingers Dating?
OnFireWithDesire.com isn’t good enough to be on anyone’s list. This site should be ignored and forgotten about immediately. Give it a pass, and try out a good website for hooking up with other great swinging couples, such as SwingerProfiles.com.
