Whether you like IntoTheLifestyle.com or not really depends on what you’re looking for in a swinger dating site.
It’s important to remember that not all websites are split into just “good” and “bad” sites. The problem that we found with IntoTheLifestyle.com is that it didn’t really cater to our specific interests, which is by no means all that reflective of whether other people are going to find it good or useful.
One thing we don’t like too much is how focused IntoTheLifestyle.com is on promoting their paid packages. No, we’re not talking about a membership fee to log on.
IntoTheLifestyle.com sells tickets to events, usually a few hundred dollars a night, that promise to help you hook up. Now, this isn’t the only website that operates like this. If you think you’re on a website that exists to sell you tickets to another event or cultural happening, there’s a chance this website isn’t as focused on swinging as you may want.
Some people prefer them, since the online prices tend to be cheaper than on other, better sites. However, we firmly believe that with many things, you get what you pay for. Just because a site is cheaper doesn’t mean it’s better, especially if it’s only cheaper because it’s trying to sell you something else that’s more expensive.
Our Results Using IntoTheLifestyle.com For Swinger Dating
On IntoTheLifestyle.com, we sent out our usual 300 emails to couples, just so you know we don’t have any sort of a sampling bias. It wasn’t too difficult to find that many couples, but we did have to widen our search parameters based on location quite a bit.
That wasn’t too much of an issue. Fortunately, most of us live in major metro areas, and there are plenty of people on IntoTheLifestyle.com that are willing to travel….or so we thought.
In reality, we just didn’t wind getting any messages back from anyone we sent an email to that lived over 25 miles away, even if they had “Can Travel” on the profile.
In fact, we only got back 39 messages total, just over 12% of the 300 messages we sent out. This is a pretty terrible number for anyone, but we were especially put off because we usually have so much more success. For comparison, see how well we did on SwingerProfiles.com, where we sent out 300 messages and got back over 200.
Unfortunately, this lack of success crossed over to how many dates we wound up scheduling: a whopping five dates. Of those, only one couple even bothered to show up. We wish they hadn’t; they looked nothing like their profile, were about ten years older, and the man had the most annoying wheezy laugh we’ve ever heard.
Needless to say, we didn’t close the deal even once.
Is IntoTheLifestyle.com Is Worth It – Or Is IntoTheLifestyle.com a Scam?
IntoTheLifestyle.com is a great site to use if you’re looking for a commercial. Not a commercial website, but a commercial.
Expect to have to deal with ads in your email. Expect to have to deal with ads in your IntoTheLifestyle.com inbox. Expect to have to deal with ads on every search page. Expect to have to deal with ads in the shower.
Okay, maybe not in the shower…yet.
Honestly, if they could figure out a way to sell us on one of their meet-up events even in the shower, we have no doubt that they would try.
The matching algorithm on IntoTheLifestyle.com isn’t that bad, but there aren’t that many couples to meet, either. Most of the time you’ll get a few results, then a recommendation that if you REALLY want to meet hot couples and singles, you’ll—you guessed it—attend one of the events and meet-ups.
We’d rather pay $30 a month at a great website, like SwingerProfiles.com, and meet several dozen couples that we want to go home with. On IntoTheLifestyle.com, all you’ll get sold is ads for meeting singles and couples at a meet-up “near you,” which probably won’t even be very close to you.
During our IntoTheLifestyle review, we also got messages from people who claimed to be swingers, but were obviously working for IntoTheLifestyle.com. They would come on to us, then immediately say that they would be at local events, and if we really wanted to meet, we’d go to one and meet up with them. After the sixth time this happened, we got the hint.
As you might have guessed, there are a lot of spambots and spammers on IntoTheLifestyle.com. However, we didn’t find too many outright scam artists. Maybe this is because they got annoyed by being told to come to a local meet-up. That certainly drove us away from our IntoTheLifestyle test after a few short weeks.
IntoTheLifestyle.com Review: Should You Use IntoTheLifestyle.com For Swingers Dating?
IntoTheLifestyle.com is a great advertisement.
As a dating site, it’s not nearly so good. Instead of providing quality services for a great price, like all the websites on our Top 5 websites for swinger dating, this site focuses a lot more on how to get you to spend money on events and meet-ups.
We’re not big “event people,” preferring the safety and precision of picking our dates online first. If you really want to spend hundreds of dollars on a single night, well, IntoTheLifestyle.com will show you how. Otherwise, try a better site like our #1, SwingerProfiles.com.
